My name is David Brogan and I am a freelance Songwriter. I am also a recital level pianist and piano teacher.

As a songwriter I have had five Top Three songs, (three #1s, a #2, and a #3) on multiple internet chart sites, including ReverbNation, Soundclick, NumberOneMusic & Garageband.

I have been advised and mentored by such musical illuminaries as John Braheny-(Diane Warren, Best-selling author), Joe Solo-(Macy Gray, Will.I.Am, Fergie), Davey Ray Moor-(Cousteau,TV composer, BAFTA winner), Richard Parfitt-(Duffy, Dido), Alex del Zoppo-(Sweetwater), Obi Mhondera and Tim Hawes -(5x #1 hits, including Ivor Novello award for Hear’Say hit ‘Pure and Simple’).

On 30th September 2012, I completed a Masters Degree in Songwriting at BathSpa University in the UK.

I also have a BA(Hons) Degree in Music, a DipMus, and CertMusEd(TCL). I have taught piano at every level from complete beginners to Diploma level and beyond for over 25 years.

As a performer and recording musician I have worked and toured with, amongst others – Ciaran Sheehan (Broadway Star of ‘Phantom of The Opera’), The Drifters, The Plattermen, members of Van Morrison’s band, and Dominic Kirwan. I was the resident pianist until 2011 for the Thanos family’s top luxury five star hotels in Cyprus – The Anassa and The Annabelle – for a total of four years.
